Forever Now (2025)
Pelagic Records
Forever Now, entirely self-produced by the band, stands as a long labor of love and a true milestone. For the first time, Gösta Berlings Saga wrote, recorded, produced, and mixed every sound and idea in-house across ten hand-crafted tracks spanning 50 minutes - an accumulation of creativity and a shared view on what music could be after two and a half decades together.
The album flows between glacial calm and high-energy turbulence, anchored by intricate melodies, electronic textures, and atmospheric depth. Cinematic in scope and deliberately unclassifiable, it captures the band's evolving instrumental approach with raw rock spontaneity and boundary-pushing vision.
Praised as “the most cohesive album Gösta Berlings Saga has released—and also the very best” (Tidens Larm), Forever Now charts new sonic territory while honoring their core philosophy. It's a journey seeking small fragments of eternity in the present moment, where time dissolves and music becomes the gateway to the infinite.

Kontraster - Live (2019)
Icosahedron Music
Kontraster - Live was captured by Swedish national radio on stage at Vera, Groningen (NL), during the Eurosonic Festival 2010, and mainly consists of songs off of Detta Har Hänt.
As the producer, Nenne Zetterberg-Sundqvist, later recalled it: "My relationship with Gösta Berlings Saga started with Håkan Persson (P3 ROCK) coming in to my room asking: “Have you heard this?”, handing me a copy of Detta Har Hänt. I inserted the CD in my player and that ruined my working day - from a working aspect. I was totally lost in the melodies, the arrangements, the sonorous sounds and the fact that it was instrumental. There was no voice telling me what the songs were about, so the music could tell me a story that became my very own.
That first “date” led to a gig at the Eurosonic Festival in Groningen (NL) in January 2010. It is a festival co-arranged by Europe’s public service radio stations. Every radio station brings a band from their own country and I immediately thought of Gösta Berlings Saga. They got a good slot at the legendary club Vera. The Swedish band with the awkward name didn’t attract a huge crowd at first but soon people started to fill the club. It was fantastic to see how people’s befuddled faces turned into pure delight as Gösta Berlings Saga won them over song by song. Towards the end of the show people just shouted for joy! I was so proud and so happy that I had been able to introduce Gösta Berlings Saga to some people who obviously became as enamoured as I did that first time we met, in my room at the radio."
