"The members stand like mad scientists at their respective laboratories, surrounded by tangled cables, effect pedals, and synthesizers. Like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, they operate more like an orchestra than a band – each instrumentalist entirely their own entity, and for that very reason, so tightly interwoven. The conductor is replaced by a shared determination to create something seamless.
Time signatures twist oddly, electronic grooves nod toward New Order, and baritone saxophones boom with authority. But the most powerful moments are the swirling climaxes – where a quiet admission lingers: that none of us truly knows, yet we hope, we try, we believe. That we all live within the great “why,” and amid the confusion, we might as well take the chance to enjoy it." Rating: 5/5
